“Very quickly there was a unanimous, ‘how can we get as many of these as possible,” said David Sylvan, president of UH Ventures and Innovation.
Not only can the tool help alleviate concerns about contracting the coronavirus from contaminated surfaces, it might reduce the number of times health-care workers have to change their protective gear, Sylvan said.
