Matthew Zenker

Matt manages the Outside-In pipeline for the Ventures platform to source, assess, and pursue new external innovation opportunities for University Hospitals. Matt has been working in the technology innovation field for nearly a decade, with specific expertise in startups, pilots, investments, and programming to cultivate a culture of entrepreneurship in the ecosystem. Prior to joining University Hospitals, Matt worked at Cleveland Clinic Innovations in the field of strategic marketing and commercialization. He has also worked in government affairs, where he consulted on government funding opportunities for clients in healthcare, renewable energy, and manufacturing industries. Matt received his BA in English from the University of Notre Dame, and his MBA from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Management.
